2009 Renault Twingo Art Collection Editions
Automotive upholstery in Europe tends to employ weft and warp fabrics with a pattern formed by weaving threads of different colours, or occasionally using the technique of roller printing. Until today, high-precision inkjet textile printing has been restricted to haute couture or off-the-peg fashion. Its employment in the world of the automobile has essentially been limited to show cars. Indeed, Renault used the technique for its Modus show car which was unveiled at the 2004 Geneva Show featuring an upholstery pattern based on the theme of photographic reproduction.

2003-04 Cadillac CTS Upper Grille Installation Instructions

Step 1: Remove factory grille shell. First, remove the four plastic screws located on top of the shell (two in the front & two on top). Then remove the four plastic screws located on the bottom (directly behind the grille shell). The bottom screws are much harder to remove as you have limited access to them. You can snap them out which will render them useless for future use, or you can take your time and slowly work (shimmy) them out using a flat head screwdriver.
Note: If you intend to install the grille shell back on to the vehicle you will need the plastic screws to do so. If they are broken when removing the factory shell you will need to purchase new plastic screws from the dealership.
Step 2: Tape over the grille opening to protect finish (see figure 1 & 2). Next, using the necessary cutting tool (die grinder, air/pneumatic saw, jigsaw) carefully cut the plastic guides from the grille (see figures 2, 3 & 4). Do not cut into the exposed portion of the front end.
Step3: Now file down rough spots until smooth (see figures 5 & 6). Once finished you will have a nice smooth surface, which will allow the billet grille to rest unobstructed in the freshly trimmed opening (see figure 7).
Step 4: Fit the grille insert into the trimmed opening, attach the two extension brackets to the top two brackets (left & right) using the 10-24 x 1” cap screws and k-lock nuts provided, then attach the two bottom extension brackets using the 10-24 x 1” cap screws and k-lock nuts. Before tightening be sure that you have the proper distance needed for a precise fit.

The Ford Sport Trac’s urban alter ego debuts at this year’s Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) show, proving that Ford can deliver aftermarket attitude straight from the factory. The 2008 Sport Trac Adrenalin is a sport utility truck that combines the utility and functionality of a pickup with a bold new attitude and genuine sense of street style. “The new Sport Trac Adrenalin is designed to appeal to the urban adventurer,” said Ryan Mitton, Sport Trac marketing manager. “It still offers up the functionality and capability that Sport Trac is known for, while boosting the style factor.”

The sleek boulevard-cruiser’s design was inspired by the Sport Trac Adrenalin concept that appeared at the 2005 New York Auto Show. Ford designer Melvin Betancourt was challenged to transfer the Adrenalin concept’s bold, more low-slung design to the production Sport Trac.

11:07 PM by onesecond · 0 comments
I’ve always wanted a 5-speed SHO, but my ’93 ATX has deep sentimental value and is in great condition. And I certainly can’t afford to be fixing/modding two SHOs, so what to do? Take a rusted-body $150 MTX SHO, $3k in new/used parts, and several long days to realize that dream! 1993 Taurus SHO 3.2L ATX – 116k miles (original transmission) Before he passed away two years ago, my younger brother poured his heart and soul into this car. No way could I ever get rid of his baby.. so lets make it faster instead (he woulda loved this). 1990 Taurus SHO 3.0L MTX – 160k miles (mechanically sound, body = New York hard life) Purchased for $150 from my buddy, AP. I was disturbed by how much quicker it was than the ATX. I kept telling myself it was the corrosion lightening mods that made it faster.

2002 Taurus/Sable Climate Control System Workshop Manual

11:22 PM by onesecond · 0 comments
The amount of moisture (water vapor content) that the air can hold is directly related to the air temperature. The more heat there is in the air, the more moisture the air can hold. The lower the moisture content in the air, the more comfortable you feel. Removing moisture from the air lowers its relative humidity and improves personal comfort. Effects of Pressure on Boiling or Condensation As the pressure is increased on a liquid, the temperature at which the liquid boils (converts to gas) also increases. Conversely, when the pressure on a liquid is reduced, its boiling point is also reduced. When in the gas state, an increase in pressure causes an increase in temperature, while a decrease in pressure will decrease the temperature of the gas.

To prevent bogus readings, the display uses a specific logic. Here’s how it works.

The ROUSH P-51A is easily the highest horsepower Mustang that the company has ever produced, and represents the first time that internal engine components have been upgraded by ROUSH technicians in their Livonia, Mich., facility. It was determined that the only way to give the P-51A moniker its due was to completely break into the 4.6L, 3V and rebuild several of the functional internal components, which include a forged steel eight-bolt crankshaft, forged aluminum pistons with increased dish to lower the compression from 9:8 to 8:6, and forged steel H-Beam connecting rods. These upgraded parts were necessary for the stock Ford engine (which comes with 300 horsepower from the factory) to be able to withstand the additional power generated from the newest iteration of the legendary ROUSHcharger* supercharger system.

2005+ Chrysler 300/300C 355mm Front Big Brake Upgrade ST-40 Caliper-40 Installation

5:32 AM by onesecond · 0 comments
Most 17” wheels will clear the outer diameter of the caliper for a 328mm or 332mm rotor kit. For a 355mm kit, a minimum 18” wheel is typically required, and for a 380mm rotor kit, a minimum 19” wheel is needed. The more critical clearance, however, is the gap between the spokes of the wheel and the face of the caliper. Do not assume that a larger-diameter wheel will automatically clear the face of the caliper.

It is very important that you verify the accuracy of the scale of the printout by matching both a width and length dimension on your vehicle. Dimensions are shown in millimeters, but one dimension in each direction is also shown in inches, and StopTech recommends adding at least 2mm of additional clearance to these dimensions. Follow the instructions carefully, to produce a fitment template, and take care to ensure that your measurements are very precise.

Wheel Spacers
Wheel spacers can provide extra clearance to the outer face of the caliper. This will also space out the entire wheel, widening the track width of the vehicle. Fender clearances should be checked on lowered cars, and longer lug studs or wheel bolts are usually required.

24x Small-Block Chevy Hardware Installation Guide

3:09 AM by onesecond · 0 comments
The LS1 engine has a different firing order than the early small-block Chevy and LT1 engines. Specifically, cylinders 2&3 and 7&4 have been swapped. If you are building your own engine harness, be sure that you swap injectors and coils 2&3 and 7&4 at the PCM. If you have ordered a new engine harness from EFI Connection, the harness has been built in this way. GM also did this for the 2001-2002 Express Van. The Express Van used an early (Vortec) small-block engine, but was operated with the 12200411 (LS1) PCM. For proper Closed Loop operation, bank-to-bank fueling can be corrected through the PCM calibration by assigning the appropriate injector to each bank. The easiest solution is to load a calibration from a 2001-2002 Express Van and then copy/paste the injector to bank assignment table values into your LS-based calibration.
