Heated Mirrors: I have installed heated mirrors in the US model. Here's what I did; but before installing make sure you read through the entire instructions so you have a good idea what is expected.
Tools: Here are some of the tools you will need. If you don’t have most of these or know how to use them, STOP. This is not for you.

STEP 1. Begin by inserting the hook tool underneath the right rear corner of the black trim bezel that surrounds the shifter lever. Pull upward to release one (1) plastic clip. Perform this same action in the remaining three (3) corners on the bezel, releasing three (3) more plastic clips. Slide the bezel over the shifter knob and disconnect all wiring. Set the bezel aside. Remove the wood grain trim bezel that surrounds the shifter. This bezel also has the ashtray integrated into it. Insert your hook tool underneath the right rear corner of this bezel and pull upward to release right rear clip. Insert the hook tool underneath the left rear cor- ner of the bezel and pull upward to release left rear clip. There are two more clips holding the bezel in place located in front of the shifter just behind the ashtray. Insert your hook tool between the center console padding and the trim bezel on the right side of bezel. Pull upward to release clip. Perform this same action on the left side. Grasp the

Dashboard Component Removal/Installation
CAUTION: When prying with a flat-tip screwdriver, wrap it with protective tape, and apply protective tape around the related parts, to prevent damage.
NOTE: Take care not to scratch the dashboard and related parts.
Instrument panel:
1. Remove the center air vent.
2. Remove the climate control unit and audio unit as an assembly ('96 - 98 models, '99 - 04 models). NOTE: Do not disconnect the connectors.
3. Remove the dashboard lower cover and driver's switch trim.
4. Remove the screws, detach the clips, then carefully pull out the instrument panel in the numbered sequence. Disconnect the connector, then remove it.
CAUTION: When prying with a flat-tip screwdriver, wrap it with protective tape, and apply protective tape around the related parts, to prevent damage.
NOTE: Take care not to scratch the dashboard and related parts.

Preparation
1. Turn off car engine and remove key from ignition
2. Un-mount your radio from the dash in order to get access to the back side of the radio.
Adapter installation
3. Attach square 14 pins connector to the back of the Honda stereo.
4. Find a place where you can place Car2PC. In many cars there is enough room in the dash to place Car2PC.
Note: Make sure you mount Car2PC in a place with enough room so when you mount the car stereo back you do not break the adapter

Transponder Bypass for Honda ET Acura (2 programmable modes)

You must use the Black key to complete the programming procedure. Programming : Keep the programming button pressed down while inserting the wire harness into connector of the HONDA-DA. Release the programming button once the LED turn ON. Turn the Ignition to the ON position. The number of LED flashes indicates the mode. (I.e. Mode 1 = 1 Flash) Press the programming button to switch between modes 1, 2 and 3. (Mode 3 is future use) Once the mode is selected, turn the ignition key to OFF position. Turn the IGNITION key to the ON position once again. The LED will illuminate. The module is now programmed. Turn the key to the OFF position and remove it, start the vehicle using the remote starter to insure functionality.

NOTE: Gauge bezel can be painted using a plastic safe paint.
1. Remove stock gauge bezel.
2. Acura Integra - Drill 7⁄64" hole in the plastic cross member. Install aluminum bracket (Fig. 1). Bracket stud should align with hole in lower center of gauge bezel. Honda Civic - Remove bottom center screw from gauge cluster housing. Reinstall screw and supplied aluminum bracket (Fig. 2).

The Honda/Acura Immobilizer anti-theft system uses a low-power transponder mounted in the head of the ignition key. When the vehicle is started, the Key Cylinder Module converts the transponder signal and sends a secure, coded signal to the Engine Control Module. If the signal to the Engine Control Module is correct, the vehicle will start.
