1998-2002 Chevrolet Cavalier Cold Air Intake System Part Number 21-447
The AEM Cold Air System is the result of extensive development on a wide variety of cars. Each system is engineered for the particular application. The AEM Cold Air System differs from all others in several ways. We take the inlet air from outside of the engine compartment where the inlet air is considerably cooler than the hot under hood air. The cooler inlet air temperature translates to more power during the combustion process because cool air is denser than warm air. AEM has conducted extensive inlet air temperature studies and we have seen temperature reductions of up to 50 degrees by pulling air from outside of the engine compartment. The air mass flow to the engine is increased because of the increased airflow and reduced inlet temperature, which translates to more power.

Nissan is conducting a voluntary safety recall on model year 2003 – 2007 Murano vehicles. Under certain conditions, the intake duct, which is connected to the intermediate resonator in the air intake system of the engine, may separate from the resonator with engine movement. This could cause minor idle fluctuation or poor acceleration. If this occurs, and the vehicle continues to be driven without being serviced, the engine may stall while driving. To remedy this potential condition, Nissan is conducting this voluntary safety recall campaign to replace the air intake duct with an updated part and the air duct clamps with new clamps at no charge for parts or labor.

The Nissan VG30DETT
Designed in the late 1980s, Nissan's twin turbo, DOHC, 4-valves per cylinder powerhouse is one of the all-time classic turbo engines. Surprisingly sophisticated both for its time and cost, the engine was fitted to the 300ZX twin turbo sports car. Nissan engineers were aiming very high with the car - the background to the engine development makes this very clear.
In this article we'll cover the technical nitty gritty of the engine and its original development goals.

The Bedlocker is designed to carry rainwater from the cover into the canister and then out through the drains. Most truck models have standard OE drain holes or plastic/rubber access ports in the front of the truck bed. Check to make sure your truck has the OE drain holes so that drilling into the sheet metal is not required. If drilling is necessary, be sure to check the underside of the truck bed for the best location.

1994-1999 Dodge Ram Pick-Up Tubular Exhaust System
TUBULAR EXHAUST SYSTEM: These components are designed as a system to improve the exhaust efficiency of the Dodge 5.2L & 5.9L V8 engine. They are constructed of 409 HP stainless steel to better withstand the high heat present with the fuel-injected engine, especially when used for towing or other heavy duty applications. The stainless steel used for these systems is much more durable than mild steel, although it does not appear different in appearance. These systems can be identified by the part numbers on each of the major components. Note that a magnet will stick to this type of stainless steel; magnetic attraction is not a valid test for these systems. A performance gain can be expected by the installation of the system. This system does require welding for installation (see note below) and retains all O.E.M. emissions equipment.
Falk Quadrive Shaft Mounted Drive Interchange Guide

Cracked Turbo Hose Fix (ADAP09) FAQ for 2002-2007 Dodge Sprinter
What is the cracked turbo hose Fix ?
A. The cracked turbo hose fix, our ADAP06 is a billet aluminum adaptor that replaces the metal end on the intake side turbo hose found on the driver’s side on the 2.7 liter, 5 cyl. In-line Mercedes Benz turbo diesel engine found in 2002 up to2007 Dodge Sprinter Vans. Our Hose adapter has a nicely rounded end which resists hose cracking even in high temperatures, high vibration and high boost pressures. The Sprinter chassis is becoming increasingly popular with RVers and commercial users because of its great fuel economy and driver-friendly characteristics. However, the intake turbo hose with its flawed metal ends is causing the Sprinter chassis to suffer an inordinate amount of breakdowns.

1.) Rear Leaf Springs: We strongly recommend that you increase the number of leafs in the rear main springs before you begin the installation process. In most cases we have found that these additional leafs (Dodge - 4 leafs, Chev. - 3 leafs and Ford - 2 leafs), in addition to an in-cab controlled airbag system, will be adequate in most cases. The use of an airbag system has always proven to be far more effective than additional helper/overload springs.

The TXT’s legendary durability comes from classic engineering—ductile and cast iron housings to absorb overloads, helical gears for smooth torque transmission and double-lip spring load seals to contain lubrication. No shortcuts. No cheating on quality, material and reliablity factors.
Like any rotating asset that’s driven hard, TXTs eventually wear out. These reducers operate in harsh conditions with airborne contaminants and there’s typically no time for preventive maintenance. Seals tend to go first, leaking oil. Once they fail, then bearings, gears and hubs follow.

Jeep/Dodge Perm-Lok 1100 Installation Instructions
These instructions have been designed for unaltered vehicles. Before you start, check for any variations. Each vehicle may dictate it’s own control mount and cable routing. Therefore, you will need to study the pictures and use your good judgement or seek professional help. Lift kits may govern how and where the cable is routed. Always keep the cable away from heat (exhaust) and rough or sharp edges. If you are concerned about lower cable damage or abrasion, we recom- mend cutting a length (about 3 feet) of 5/8” ID plastic or rubber hose (garden or heater) to be slid over the cable before assembly.

The TAG is intended to be used with the silencer ring in place. On 94-2002 Dodge trucks install the longer side into the turbo housing and the shorter side will be facing the inside of the intake boot. Remove the rubber boot from the turbo charger inlet and insert the TAG into the rubber boot with the longest part of the TAG facing outward as shown. The TAG should snap into the groove inside the boot. Place the supplied band clamp over the hose as shown in the photo below. Slip the boot back over the turbo inlet using one hand through the boot to guide the TAG into the turbo.

Make sure you park the vehicle on a level concrete or asphalt surface. Many times a vehicle is not level (side-to-side) from the factory & is usually not noticed until a lift kit has been installed which makes the difference more visible. Using a measuring tape, measure the front & rear (both sides) from the ground up to the center of the fender opening above the axle. Record this information below for future reference.

RIGHT SIDE: 1. Remove top of heater blower box from lower heater box assembly in engine compartment.
2. Remove the bolts from the coolant reservoir so it can be moved around.
3. Disconnect spark plug wires from spark plugs and move out of the way.
4. Loosen the 2nd and 4th upper header flange bolts for mounting bracket installation.
5. Install one mounting bracket on each of the two header flange bolts loosened in Step 4. Position the brackets so that the slot on the end is straight down under the bolt and bracket is flat on top. These brackets will angle forward and down slightly when installed properly. NOTE: Before attempting to install the heat shield onto the brackets, first measure the distance between the threaded holes in the mounting brackets. You should have 9 1/8” from center to center of holes. If you don’t, you can bend the brackets with a pair of pliers or a small hammer. Doing this will make heat shield installation much easier.

This guide provides several pages of instructions for the installation of the SuperGlide towing system (part number 3300).
Truck Preparation
1. Check part quantities using the Parts List for the specific vehicle type.
2. Block vehicle wheels. Some vehicles may require you to raise the rear of the truck in order to make it easier to drill for installing the Mounting Brackets on the truck frame.
3. You may wish to remove the wheels, to give yourself greater working room.

I am not a mechanic, nor do I claim to know the best way to install this kit. This is simply a document detailing
the method I used to install the springs on my wife’s 2007 Dodge Nitro R/T 4.0L.
Installation:
1. Read through all the instructions at least 1 time, and then begin the installation process.
2. Using the 10mm wrench, remove the battery terminal connectors.
3. Remove the bottom bolt from the battery tray; this should free the battery to be lifted out.
4. After the battery has been removed, open the fuse box and disconnect the RED cable using a 13mm socket.
