2004-2006 Ford F-150 Liquid Solid Billet Door Handle Instruction

The installation of the replacement door handles are for persons with advanced auto-body skills and is recommended to have them professionally installed.
A. Pre-installation Preparation
Step 1: Verify kit contents.
Step 2: Remove the door handles from the box.
Step 3: Make sure the window is up and the door is unlocked.
B. Remove Door Paneling
Step 1: Remove the two hex head screws at the bottom of the door. (Fig. B-1)
Step 2: Remove the top of the armrest with controls by using a screw driver to pop it off then remove the hex head screw on the inside and unhook wiring harness. (Fig. B-1 & B-2)
Step 3: Remove the plastic cover by the door handle and remove the two hex head screws. (Fig. B-1)
Step 4: Remove the plastic mesh cover that covers the speaker by using a screw driver to pop the cover off. (Fig. B-1)
Step 5: Remove the speaker, it is held in by four hex head screws. Unhook the wiring harness. (Fig. B-2)
Step 6: Remove the bottom two plastic plugs that the speaker screws into. (Fig. B-3)
Step 7: Unhook all remaining wiring harnesses.
Step 8: Pull door panel straight up and out, detach the door handle cable and then your door panel is free.
