You have just purchased the finest short throw shifter available for the 1989-1996 Chevrolet Corvette (including the ZR-1) with the ZF 6-Speed transmission. The shifter uses the stock Corvette knob, or any replacement knob with a 9/16-18 thread. Anyone with moderate me- chanical ability and a few hand tools can install this B&M Short Throw Shifter.
