NewSouth Performance Mk5/EOS/B6 TurboPod kit Installation

This document outlines how to install a NewSouth Performance Mk5/EOS/B6 TurboPod kit1. Please review this document before attempting your installation.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
Use appropriate safety precautions at all times. Make sure car in securely parked and on a level surface. Remove positive terminal of battery when working with electricity.

Remove engine cover
1. Disconnect the air intake hose with Torx driver
2. Disconnect MAF wiring harness and metal clips
3. Firmly pull cover upwards to remove cover. Reinsert any of the 4 rubber grommets that come loose from the cover. Set cover aside.

Install T-fitting
1. Locate the indicated OEM rubber line. Cut off one- time use clamps and remove rubber line.
2. Install NoBuzz T-fitting DO NOT PRESS SIDEWAYS ON BARB OR USE IT FOR LEVERAGE. Install and tighten one clamp on each side of fitting.
3. Rotate fitting so that barb points toward firewall and insure hoses are fully seated on engine barbs.

Nylon hose routing
1. Insert nylon tubing at least ½” into one of the 5” pieces of small rubber tubing. Push tubing onto T-fitting barb.
2. Remove battery from car. Remove sides of battery housing – pressing clips on each side.
3. Look for main wiring harness where it comes through firewall. Cut off rubber nipple and thread nylon tubing through hole into passenger compartment.
4. Zip tie nylon tubing in place.
5. Reinstall battery, engine cover and MAF harness. Use soapy solution on engine cover grommets to ease installation on pegs.
