Audi To Most System VT-AUDIMOSTCK3100-100 Parrot CK3100 BlueTooth

This Interface has been designed to be installed together with the Parrot CK3100 Hands-free kit (NOT SUPPLIED WITH THE INTERFACE). It will not be necessary to use the Display supplied with the CK3100 kit, because the Interface allows to view all information about calls in the Audi OEM MMI Monitor. The Parrot BLUE Module and the suitable wiring will be needed to complete the installation.

Phone pairing
If the Interface has not been installed yet, when pressing the OEM Call button, the MMI screen will show a message, saying “TELEPHONE NOT CONNECTED. PLEASE CONNECT TELEPHONE”. Once the installation has been completed, when pressing the button, the message will change to “Telephone disconnected or improperly hang up”.

Then, you will need to pair the Mobile phone with the Parrot CK-3100 kit, same way it should be done on a regular Parrot installation. You will need to activate Bluetooth function, search for the device (in this case, Parrot CK-3100) and connect
As soon as the connection between phone and kit is completed, the On Screen Menu will change, and you will be able to view the dialling screen, with same format as the dialling screen in the Audi OEM Menu.
All functions will be controlled through the MMI original knob, both to Browne the menus and to make calls.
All the call information will be displayed in the original Audi monitor, and in the small Combi display located in the dashboard.

System Menu
Once the phone has been paired with the Parrot kit, you will have to download the phone book data to the kit itself, so you can view all the information on the screen.

This process will take one or more minutes, depending on the quantity of contacts stored in the phone book of the Mobile phone. For example, for a phone book with 200 contacts, downloading would take around 5 minutes. You will only need to perform this task ONCE. For all future uses, the information will be already stored inside the kit. In case of adding new contacts, only the new information would be downloaded, and it would not be necessary to download the whole phone book again.

Depending on the cell phone features, it may not be possible to download the phone book automatically. In this case, please proceed as follows:
-Unplug the Interface harness from the Parrot Module.
-Connect the original CK3100 Display to the Parrot Module.
-Download the phone book contacts MANUALLY, same way as you would proceed if only the Parrot kit were installed.
-Once all the contacts have been downloaded, unplug the Display and plug the Interface harness again.
