Red Snub Mount Installation

1. Allow engine to cool before beginning installation.
2. Access the underside of the vehicle.
- APR recommends utilizing a lift for this installation.
- A jack with jack stands or ramps can be used if a lift is not available.
3. Remove the Splash Shield. With the flat head screw driver, unfasten all of the quarter turn screws. Note how splash shield is oriented in the car before removing.
4. Remove the three 6mm bolts from the front lower engine mount.
5 . Remove the original foam rubber engine mount and replace it with the APR Polyurethane Snub mount. The APR snub may require some force to press onto the aluminum engine mount (silicon grease or soapy water will help).
(The snub mount will expand slightly when the arm is fully pressed in.)
6 . Loosen the four 13mm nuts holding the snub basket to the front clip
7. Reinstall lower engine bracket. Tighten the three 6mm allen head screws.
8. Start the engine, idle for 30-45 seconds, add small throttle inputs to help center the snub and the receiver.
9. Turn off the engine, and tighten the four 13mm receiver nuts.
10. Restart the engine, and check for unwanted low frequency vibrations.
11. Ensure all Bolts and Nuts are properly tightened.
12. Reinstall the splash shield, and quarter turn screws.
