2002-up AUDI A4 1.8t AWD 21mm Rear Anti-Roll Bar Installation Instructions

1. Park car on a flat, level surface capable of supporting the vehicle’s weight on jack and jack stands.
2. Using the manufacturers recommended lifting point(s), raise rear of vehicle and support with jack stands. NEVER WORK ON A VEHICLE SUPPORTED ONLY WITH A JACK!
3. Release left and right muffler from hangar and allow exhaust to droop.
4. Remove four mounting bolts (13mm hex) and two end link bolts (16mm hex). Remove anti-roll bar from vehicle.
5. Prepare sub-frame and brackets for welding by removing paint from surfaces around weld areas.
6. Install left and right gusset over existing anti-roll bar bracket and install original mounting bolts. Push gusset upward while tightening bolts.
7. Weld front, back and side seams where gusset contacts sub-frame as shown. (Left side shown.
8. Remove bolts and prepare bracket for paint by cleaning weld area. Tape-off surrounding area with masking tape and newspaper.
9. Following paint manufacturer’s instructions, paint area and allow to dry.
10. Remove masking tape and newspaper. (Left side shown).
11. Apply supplied grease to inside of each bushing and install bushing onto bar. (Right side shown)
12. Position bar and install end-link bolts. Torque to 18 Ft. Lbs. Rotate bar up to mounting bracket and install clamp and mounting bolts as shown. Torque bolts to 18 Ft. Lbs. (Left side shown)
13. Installation is complete.
14. Double-check complete installation and TEST DRIVE CAREFULLY.
