Installation Sequences
After TMS and Safety mandated preparatory steps have been taken, the installation sequence is the suggested method for completing the accessory installation. In some instances the suggested sequence is written for one associate to install and in others the sequence is given as part of a team accessory installation. Unless otherwise stated in the document, the associates may perform the installation steps in any order to make the installation as efficient as possible while maintaining consistent quality. Section I – Installation Preparation Each kit will have 3 main brackets with plates & 2 support brackets per side of vehicle as shown.
PRE-ASSEMBLY
Pre-assemble brackets to plates using supplied 5/16 nuts, washers & bolts. (Note: you have Left & Right Brackets on the Front Center & Rear. You can make the plates work on either side EXCEPT for the Rear Plates). Front Bracket Assembly (Driver’s side shown) 1. On the Front bracket assembly only use the lower holes at this time. The top 2 holes are for Factory mounting locations. (Be sure to assemble brackets as shown in pictures.) See Figure 2 Center Bracket Assembly (Driver’s side shown) 1. Repeat the same step as the front bracket assembly. The top 3 holes are for factory mounting. (Be sure to assemble brackets as shown in pictures).
