2007 Toyota Camry Hybrid Sirius Satellite Radio Tuner

Install the Antenna. (a) Clean the antenna mounting location behind the rear view mirror with approved cleaner. (Fig 3-1) Note: Mounting location must be completely dry & installation temperature must be between 60° - 100° F before mounting the antenna.
(b) Remove the 2 release tabs from the back of the antenna, and place the antenna in the proper position. (1) 1 – 4 mm just right of the mirror mount behind the rear view mirror for vehicles with EC mirror. (Fig. 3-1) (2) Centered behind the mirror for vehicles without EC mirror. (Fig. 3-2) (3) By hand firmly apply pressure upward on the antenna to assure complete wet-out of the tape pads. (Fig. 3-2)
(c) Route the antenna cable up underneath the front of the headliner as shown. (Fig. 3-2) (1) By hand pull down the front of the headliner and position the antenna cable up underneath the headliner as shown. (2) Make sure the cable is located all the way at the top of the “A” pillar so it does not interfere with the air bag system. (3) Apply 4 - 1/3 rd. pieces of foam tape as shown. Make sure the cable passes through the garnish at the bottom part of the “A” pillar so it does not interfere with the airbag system. (Fig. 3-3)
(d) Continue routing the cable down behind the dash and down the “A” pillar to where the receiver will be installed. (Fig. 3-4) (1) Apply foam tape as shown. (Fig. 3-4)
(e) Remove the vehicle harness wire clips along the door seal. (1) Using needle nose pliers squeeze together the 2 prongs inside the harness clips along the door seal and pull upward on each of the harness clips and remove them so you will be able to lift up the carpet. (Fig. 3-5)
(f) Continue routing the antenna cable under the carpet on the floor next to the door opening. After the seat is moved in step 5 the cable will continue under the carpet through the opening in the cross member & out the opening in the carpet for the heater duct to where the receiver module will be installed. (Fig. 3-5)
