Cable Routing and Installation (a) Install and route the tuner cable from the center cluster and along the front support bar. (Fig. 3-1) (b) Provide sufficient cable slack to connect to the tuner, and then secure the cable to the existing wire harness with lock tie. Cut excess off lock tie. Connect wire harness to head unit. (c) Using lock ties attach to existing W /H. Trim lock tie excess. (Fig. 3-2) (d) Route to the existing clamps. (Fig. 3-2) (f) Route the cable as shown and secure with lock tie. Trim lock tie excess. (Fig. 3-4) (g) Route the tuner cable under the rear passenger seat and secure with cushion tape. (Fig. 3-5) NOTE:Clean the area for the cushion tape with the approved cleaner.
Antenna Installation. (a) Clean the template mounting area. (b) Position the antenna mounting template to align to the beveled edge at the rear of the package tray. (Fig. 4-1) (c) Remove the release paper from the back of antenna, and then attach to the center of the ground plate. (d) Remove the release paper from the back of the ground plate and place the ground plate into the template. (Fig. 4-2) NOTE:Align the ground plate with the template as shown and install it carefully. Once attached, the ground plate cannot be easily removed.
