Engine Controls - MIL ON/DTC P2025 Set Section Title: Engine TSB No. TS 07 12065 Division: Automotive Category: Technical SUBJECT: MIL ON DTC P2025 MODEL(S): AERIO (RH420) YEAR: 2003 CONDITION: In extreme cold climates, the MIL may be ON when the engine is started. The DTC P2025 will be stored in the ECM. CAUSE: ECM Software Logic CORRECTION: Using the appropriate service manual, verify the DTC using the troubleshooting chart. If no cause for the DTC is found, reprogram the ECM by using the instructions listed below. Then clear the DTC from the ECM memory.
REPROGRAMMING PROCEDURE: 1. Log onto the Suzuki Pitstop. 2. Download and review the Suzuki Pass-Thru Reprogramming Tool Operator's Manual. This must be read and understood COMPLETELY before attempting to reprogram the ECM. 3. Following the procedure outlined in the Suzuki Pass-Thru Reprogramming Tool Operator's Manual, download and install the Pass-Thru Reprogramming Software "3_SOFTWARE.EXE" if it is not already installed on your PC 4. Download and unzip Suzuki Pass-Thru Reprogramming Data Base "4_DATABASE1.EXE" onto your PC. Follow the procedure in Section 3.2 of the Operator's Manual to update the Database files. This step is only required to be done once to accommodate all vehicles covered under this TSB.
