STEP 1. Begin by removing the small black trim ring that surrounds the radio. Insert the hook tool behind the upper right corner of the trim ring and pull toward you to loosen the ring. Once the ring is loose, work the remaining three (3) corners of the trim ring loose. Set the trim ring aside. Turn the ignition to the “ON” position and shift the transmission into low gear. Just above the ashtray door, grasp the top section of the bezel that surrounds the transmission shifter and pull toward you to release two (2) clips. Insert the hook tool behind the right rear corner of the bezel just behind the shifter. Pull upward to release one (1) clip. Perform the same action in the left rear corner releasing one (1) more clip. Grasp the rear of the bezel and continue working loose two (2) clips on the left and right sides of the shifter. Work the bezel up and over the shifter knob and disconnect all wiring. Set the bezel aside.
STEP 2. Locate two (2) 10mm nuts just below the radio. Using the 10mm socket, ratchet and extension, remove those two nuts. Set the nuts aside. Grasp the radio and pull the radio out of its cavity. Let the radio rest on the a protective cloth on the center console. DO NOT DISCONNECT THE WIRING TO THE RADIO.
STEP 3. Locate two (2) 7mm screws on the right, inside the radio cavity. Remove the lower screw with the 7mm open end wrench. Set that screw aside. Loosen the top screw just enough to get the slot in the Pro.Fit mount behind it. Once the mount is in place, insert the bottom screw and tighten down the mount securing both screws.
