Volvo and Renault Trucks synergy

Renault trucks customers here can enjoy better sales and technical services with the major heavy duty truck brand now parked under the Volvo Malaysia Sdn Bhd (VM) network. “Dedicated teams have been established to ensure delivery of efficient customer services throughout the country,” said VM managing director eric leblanc. the consolidation of both Volvo and Renault trucks in the country also means a higher level of integration in terms of component sourcing and vehicle distribution. Commercial truck users now have a wider range of vehicles, especially in the off-road segment, to choose from the Volvo trucks and Renault trucks stable.
ThE Renault Kerax, which comes in 6x4 and 8x4 configurations, is designed for severe off-road usage and high load capacity in the mining, quarry and logging sectors.
Turbo intercooled six-cylinder in-line diesel engines with 10.8-litre or 12.8-litre displacements are available. The engines offer outstanding torque, even at low engine speed (from 1,100rpm). The Kerax is a robust truck fitted with protective devices and filtration systems that are adapted to difficult environments, oversized suspensions, reinforced powertrain and strengthened chassis.
