Mirror Cover Manual:
The polished black cover on each mirror can be removed and painted to match the vehicle's body color, or replaced with chrome (p/n 9040) or 'USA Flag' theme covers (p/n 9060).

Existing cover removal.
Make sure you have the required tools:
• flashlight
• slotted screwdriver (with at least a 5” shaft).
Approximate installation time: 5 –10 minutes.
1. Pull the top edge of the main glass as far forward as practical. It may make a clicking sound as it moves - this is normal. (See Figure 1a)
Using a flashlight, locate the vertical rectangular slot on the vehicle side of the main glass opening. It will be alongside a hex-head screw and another rectangular slot - horizontal.
