G35 Coupe Aluminum Pedal Install

I purchased the Infiniti aluminum pedal set from Grubbs Infiniti in Dallas over the phone from Danny our FX45 salesmen. I believe Danny said these pedals are the ones used in the FX45. After examining them, I think he's probably right because the dead pedal is narrower and sits up higher than either the standard G35 plastic dead pedal or the Nissan 350Z dead pedal. The brake and gas pedals look the same.
Parts
All of the parts in their respective plastic bags with part numbers. These are for the 5AT. For the 6MT the clutch and brake pedals are different. Total price ~$80 shipped.
Original Pedals
Here are the original pedals before any work being done. Make note of the width of the dead pedal on the left under the parking brake.
Dead Pedal Removal
To remove the dead pedal turn these plastic lock downs until they turn freely (counterclockwise) then simply pull up on the dead pedal to take it out. The lower end came out easier than the upper end for me.
Pins
Here are the two pins that stick up that you will place the new dead pedal over the top of.
Dead Pedal Comparison
As you can see the new dead pedal on the top is thicker or taller than the old one. At first I thought this might interfere with the parking brake pedal, but it did not.
