GM Service Manuals SIR Disabling and Enabling Zone 2

Disabling Procedure
Important: Refer to SIR Disabling and Enabling Zones on page 2-81 before disabling the SIR system.
1. Turn the steering wheel until the vehicle’s wheels are pointing straight ahead.
2. Turn OFF the ignition.
3. Remove the key from the ignition.
Important: With the SIR fuse removed and the ignition ON, the AIR BAG indicator illuminates. This is normal operation and does not indicate an SIR system malfunction.

06 Chevrolet Aveo/Wave Cruise Control Installation Instructions

INSTALLATION
1) Remove knee panel under steering column, then remove (6) 10mm screws to release steel panel.
2) Remove lower steering column cover and driver side kick panel.
3) Connect the Red Cruise Harness Wire to Pink 12v Ignition Vehicle Wire behind fuse.
4) Connect the Black Cruise Harness Wire to Black Wire/Position 87 of 4

Toyota 4Runner, Highlander Trailer Wire Harness Service Bulletin

Beginning in 2000, the accessory trailer wire harness supplier was changed and a new design was adopted which incorporated in–line fuses in the tow wire harness in addition to the vehicle fuse. This bulletin identifies the fuse location to supplement dealer diagnostics troubleshooting. In the future please reference the accessory trailer wire harness Owner’s Guide for the vehicle specific diagnostic procedures. As a general note please place the towing wire harness Owner’s Guide in glove box after every DIO installation.

1998 Honda Civic EX Fuses & Circuit Breakers

When battery is disconnected, vehicle computer and memory systems may lose memory data. Driveability problems may exist until computer systems have completed a relearn cycle. See COMPUTER RELEARN PROCEDURES article in GENERAL INFORMATION before disconnecting battery.
UNDER-DASH FUSE/RELAY BOX NOTE: Under-dash fuse/relay box is located under driver's side of instrument panel.

03 Pilot EX Outside Temperature Indicator Logic

Front Connected 63 Fuse Fitting

Method of Cabling Front connected fuse fittings
1. Remove red nylon insulating shroud to release cable sleeve.
2. Remove cable sleeve.
3. Fit cable sleeve over cable.
4. Fit conductor into fuse base terminal and tighten cable clamping screw to secure. If flexible cables are used, their relatively fine strands may be given increased protection by the use of thin wall copper ferrules over the conductor.
