For further information regarding these regulations, please contact your dealer. Despite our strongest recommendation, and your best intentions, not wearing a seatbelt is like believing "it'll never happen to me!", Volvo urges you and all adult occupants of your car to wear seatbelts and ensure that children are properly restrained, using an infant, car or booster seat determined by age, weight and height.

These white faces are the product of years of research and experimentation. They are printed with a special printer using waterproof and UV resistant ink on high quality adhesive backed vinyl and then laminated with a high-quality, non-glare overlay. Follow these instructions closely and you will have a very nice looking set of gauges in your Volvo. Some of the ideas you see in these instructions were suggested by customers like yourself. If you have an idea that will help future Volvonuts with a smoother installation, please let me know.

The Service Reminder Indicator (SRI) is triggered at the appropriate interval since last service. Depending on model, this is based on accumulated mileage, calendar time, or hours of engine operation. Once triggered, the SRI comes on each time the engine is started. The light goes out after approximately two minutes except on 850 Base variant (without trip computer). After service is performed and the SRI counter reset, the SRI will not light again until shortly before next service is due.

Designed for the driving enthusiast, the agile 850 GLT hides a radical new Volvo beneath its unmistakably Volvo lines.
The sporty sedan has a transversely-mounted, 2.4 liter five-cylinder engine and a unique, semi-independent rear
suspension. Its seemingly glued-to-the-road stability and crisp steering response bring a fun-to-drive quality to
Volvo's first front-wheel-drive car. A long list of standards include driver's and front passenger's air bags, four-wheel
disc brakes with ABS, power driver's seat, and separate climate controls for driver and front passenger. The new car
features four Volvo-patented systems.
