2000 Audi A6 Airbag System Servicing

Before beginning repairs on the electrical system: Obtain the anti-theft radio security code. Switch the ignition off. Disconnect the battery Ground (GND) strap. On vehicles equipped with Audi Telematics by OnStar , switch-off the emergency (back-up) battery for the Telematic/Telephone Control Module prior to disconnecting vehicle battery After reconnecting vehicle battery, re-code and check operation of anti-theft radio. Also check operation of clock and power windows according to Repair Manual and/or Owner's Manual. After reconnecting vehicle battery on vehicles equipped with Audi Telematics by OnStar , switch-on the emergency (back-up) battery for the Telematic/Telephone Control Module Observe all safety precautions before starting work on any part of airbag system.

Relay arrangements on the relay panel - Dual Horn Relay (53) 1- Load Reduction Relay (213, 100, 18) 2 - open 3 - Fuel Pump (FP) Relay (409) 4 - Wiper/Washer Intermittent Relay (377), V Wiper/Washer Intermittent Relay (377), VI Fuse placements on the relay panel A- Fuse for power windows (red connector) B- open C - Fuse for heated power seats (black connector)

1990 Mercedes Benz 500SL Synchronizing Power Windows Service and Repair

If the power supply was interrupted (battery disconnected or low), the windows cannot be opened by the Express feature.
To resynchronize the Express feature:
Press the UP side of the window switch (to the 2nd detent, if present) until the
window is completely closed and hold for and additional 2 seconds.
Repeat procedure for each window.
Note: If vehicle is equipped with two way Express feature, each window may also
have to be resynchronized in the full open position as well.
