Mitsubishi Bracketron Phone Mount Installation Instructions

TOOLS NEEDED: Dash Trim Tool, (Part #SIT-104), 9/32” socket & ratchet, 5/16” open end wrench. 3/16” Allen Wrench, 10mm socket & driver. PARTS INCLUDED: One Custom Bezel Mount and instructions. two (2) #8x32 cap nuts. LOCATION OF MOUNT: To the right of the radio for the Montero, Outlander, and Lancer. To the right of climate control for the Eclipse, Stratus Coupe, Sebring Coupe, and Galant.
Installation instructions for the Eclipse, Stratus Coupe, and Sebring Coupe. (See reverse side for Mitsubishi Outlander, Lancer/Sportback, and Mitsubishi Montero instructions) Locate and remove two (2) screws from the bottom of the trim bezel. With your hands or Dash Trim Tool (#SIT-104), release the bezel from all clips. There are two (2) clips on the bottom and two (2) on the top of this bezel. Remove bezel and set aside carefully. Locate and remove two screws that secure the right side of the climate control. Set screws aside in safe place. Place smaller part “A” over holes as shown in middle picture. Replace factory screws and tighten.
Reinstall the dash bezel until all clips are secure. Replace two screws on the bottom of this bezel. Once bezel is scure, connect the larger part “B” to smaller part “A”. For Dodge Stratus ad Chrysler Sebring, use hole pattern (1). For Mitsubishi Eclipse, use hole pattern (2). Use the two (2) provided cap nuts and tighten part “B” to part “A” with a 5/16” open end wrench. Install any Bracketron phone holder or Amps compatible device to your Custom Bezel Mount. Your installation is complete.
Installation instructions for the Mitsubishi Outlander and Lancer/Sportback. (See reverse side for Mitsubishi Eclipse, Dodge Stratus Coupe, and Chrysler Sebring Coupe instructions)
Locate and remove three climate control knobs. Note: Pull straight outwards to release these knobs. Remove the two Phillips screws on the outside knob controls. Once all three knobs and two screws are removed and set aside carefully, use the Dash Trim Tool (#SIT-104) to remove the dash trim bezel. Set the bezel aside carefully. See top left picture for guidance.
Locate and remove one screw from the top right corner of the radio. Set screw aside in safe place. Place smaller part “A” of Custim Bezel Mount over existing screw hole and replace factory screw as shown in top center picture. When smaller part “A” is secure, reinstall the dash trim bezel in reverse order securing all clips and screw. Reinstall the screws that secure the climate control bezel, and also reinstall all three control knobs. Once dash bezel is secure, connect larger part “B” to smaller part “A”. Use hole pattern (4) for the Mitsubishi Outlander and Lancer/Sportback. Use the two (2) provided cap nuts and tighten part “B” to part “A” with a 5/16” open end wrench. Install any Bracketron phone holder or Amps compatible device to your Bezel Mount. Your installation is complete.
