TOOLS NEEDED: Two (2) sets of Audi DIN Radio Removal Tools, (Btron Part # SIT-102 One (1) Flat Headed Screwdriver or Dash Trim Tool (Btron Part # SIT-104), 5/16” socket and driver.
PARTS INCLUDED: One phone mount and instructions.
LOCATION OF MOUNT: To the Right of the Radio
Step 1: Locate four slots on the face of the radio. Insert four Audi DIN tools in these four slots until you hear or feel the tools click or lock.
Note: There is a rubber seal that wraps around the radio between the radio and the dash pad. This causes the radio to sit very tight in the cavity. To loosen this seal and allow the radio to slide out easier, we recommend using a Dash Trim Panel tool or flat head screwdriver to wedge between both the right and left sides of the radio and dash pad. Carefully wiggle the tool or screwdriver to loosen the radio slightly.
Step 2: Grasp the Four DIN Tools and slide the radio out of its cavity just enough to allow access to the two (2) 5/16” hex head bolts to the right of the radio. Remove the two bolts using the 5/16” socket and driver. Caution: Do not disconnect the wiring to the radio. You will need the radio code to re-program it! Place the Bezel Mount over these two holes making sure the holes line up. Insert the two factory bolts and tighten them down with the socket and driver.
Step 3: Re-install the radio in reverse order. Install any Bracketron phone holder or Amps compatible device to your bezel mount.
Your installation is complete.
