RAPID 22 Model FAT01-A6 Owner's Manual - Assembly/Set-up Instructions

Moving shooting target recommended for factory ammunition in .17 and .22 rim-fire calibers only! Installation Procedures below:
1. Remove all parts from packaging and place on flat work surface. Verify all contents to attached parts list. NOTE: In the event that your unit is damaged or is missing parts please contact Fireaction Inc. at 1.800.767.0879 or contact your local authorized dealer.
2. Place Front Plate (3) on work surface with 90° bends (front) facing down. Next, place plastic Track Plate (4) on top of Front Plate. Lastly, place Back Plate Weldment (7) on top of the Track Plate. All plates should be oriented as shown in Figure-1. NOTE: For proper orientation all bolt holes and shooting window should be aligned.
3. Insert eleven 1.00” long Carriage Bolts (17) through the Front Plate (3), Track Plate (4) and Back Plate Weldment (7) into the corresponding holes as shown in Figure-1 and install eleven Flange Nuts (20). NOTE: Do not tighten any bolts at this time! This will prevent misalignment issues in the rest of the assembly.
4. Install Rod Release Weldment (8) between the two tabs of the Back Plate Weldment (7) and secure by installing Clevis Pin (11) from the top and inserting Hairpin Cotter Pin (12) into Clevis Pin as depicted in Figure-1&4. NOTE: Release Plate should be angled toward bottom of target with adjustment slot on bottom side of tube.
5. Install Conical Spring (14) into Guide Block (6) making sure large diameter of spring is completely seated into counter bore of Guide Block. Install Guide Block assembly over Rod Release Weldment (8). Next, insert Dowel Pin (21) into Guide Block (6) slot and position assembly onto Back Plate Weldment (7). Lastly, install two 1.75” long Carriage Bolts (19) through Front Plate (3) and Guide Block (6) and secure with two Flange Nuts (20). NOTE: Do not tighten any bolts at this time! This will prevent misalignment issues in the rest of the assembly. Guide Block assembly should now resemble Figure-2.
6. Install Rear Support Brkt. (1) to Back Plate Weldment (7) by inserting two 1.25” long Carriage Bolts (18) through Front Plate (3) and secure with two Flange Nuts (20) as depicted in Figures-1&2. NOTE: Do not tighten any bolts at this time! This will prevent misalignment issues in the rest of the assembly.
7. Install Rear Support (2) to Rear Support Brkt. (1) with two 1.00” long Carriage Bolts (17) and secure with two Flanged Wing Nuts (16) as shown in Figures-1&2.
8. Install plastic Spacer (9) onto Thumb Screw (10). assembly through Rod Release Weldment slot (8) and thread into T-Slot Nut (13). Lastly, hand-tighten Thumb Screw making sure 0.250 T-Slot Nut registers into adjuster slot in Rod Release Weldment (8). NOTE: Thumb screw adjuster assembly should now resemble Figure-2.
9. Tighten all fifteen Flange Nuts (20) to 6 ft*lbs. Do not over tighten! Next, insert Thumb Screw.
