Wire Harness Routing Precaution
Disconnect the connectors and terminals by holding them. Do not pull the harness to disconnect the connector.
Do not pull the harness with force. it will damage the har ness.
Cut off the excess of the wire ties.
Connect the connectors and terminals securely until they lock.
Reinstall the connectors to the corresponding stays whenever they are removed. After operation, check that the connectors are installed on the stays securely and not loose or come out of the stays.
Take care not to pinch the harness with the vehicle parts during assembly.
Secure the harness to the vehicle harness securely not to let them hang down. Reinstall the clamps of the vehicle if they are removed.
Installation
LHD model
1. Remove the right sunvisor from the holder. Remove the cover from the right sunvisor (four retaining tabs). Remove the two torx screws, pull out the right sunvisor, disconnect the vehicle connector, and remove the sunvisor.
2. Not equipped vehicle connector
• Remove the right sunvisor from the holder. Remove the cover from the right sunvisor (four retaining tabs).
• Remove the two torx screws, and remove the sunvisor.
3. Take off the front door opening seal. Push the clip into the vehicle side by striking the top of the front pillar trim in the part marked as “SIDE CURTAIN AIRBAG” with your hand perpendicularly to the vehicle. Then, remove the clip.
4. Remove the right front pillar trim (two clips).
5. Remove the passenger’s seat side under cover (three clips and two pins).
