2007 H&R Volkswagen Project GTI 250hp
VW introduced the first pocket rocket and started a niche market that is now a style statement for many car enthusiasts. We wanted to build a car that let the best of the GTI and the best of the aftermarket kick asphalt! The H&R Project GTI has something for all. It is subtle, but different. The tone on tone paint difference is not always noticeable, but the power and handling definitely is! The new GTI has an automatic built-in market. The young car guys who built GTIs 25 years ago cant wait to get their hands on this new car. The Y Generation likes a well-engineered vehicle that offers a huge array of aftermarket to add to their style. H&R GTI has it all!

H&R Suspension increases the fun factor by 10x and keeps the OZ wheels well planted. The tires and wheel fit in fender well with no room to spare. The H&R suspension lowers the GTI 2.0 front and 1.8 rear. Handling is tight and confident ride comfort is superb. The awesome Brembo brakes stop the action in large style when the ride is over or when you bite off more road than your pants can handle.

The exterior has been brought inside with the silver two-tone theme on the dash, seats and door panels. The light and dark silver colors are separated with silver machined look piping that matches the machine turned accents on the dash and door panels. The interior experience is visually pleasing, but the audio system steals the show. The project theme dictated that aftermarket components blend in well. The AVH-P6800DVD head unit looks very much at home in the GTI and controls the awesome sound of this German Concert Hall. The front AMP fits nicely under the driver seat. The rear AMP in centrally located in the custom Cryogenic Camber/Housing. You will notice the H&R FAST (as seen at VW.com) is kept under constant restraint. WARNING: Do not open or allow the H&R FAST to exit the Cryogenic Camber. The combination of the VW power + H&R Handling + Pioneer Audio = fast driving everywhere which can be and is very contagious.
