If owners of ’02 CR-Vs are complaining of a creaking from the A-pillar when turning left, the problem may be the right front engine mount on the cam chain side. If the rubber in the mount is misadjusted or faulty, it can make a creaking, ticking, or spot-weld-like noise that seems to be coming from the base of the front passenger’s A-pillar.
