Part One: Rear bracket attachment
Step 1) Attach the rear brackets to the step as shown in Figure 1, using a washer, E, and nut, I, on each stud. Tighten each nut.
Step 2) Place the cross member in position as shown in Figure 2, and secure using washers D and F, and one nut, H on each stud. Leave fasteners loose, as the bracket slots will be used to determine exact fit of rear upright bracket.

Preparation
1. Ensure all lamps and accessories are OFF.
2. Ensure the ignition switch is in the OFF position.
3. Loosen the negative battery cable bolt. Remove negative battery cable from terminal and position away from battery.
4. Wait one (1) minute prior to working on the vehicle to assure SIR roof rail airbag system has been disabled for your safety.

Step 1 - Unpack QuickLIFT system and verify contents. Remove all items from the packing tube. You should have the following before beginning: * (2) Gas springs (RT-QL-200-4A) - Be sure to cycle them a few times before installing. * (4) 3/16" multi-grip #1 rivets (used on hood brackets) * (2) ball-studs and washers * Printed Color Instructions
