This towing hitch is designed to assembly in following cars: FORD ESCORT IV 3/5 doors, produced since 01.1996 till 1998, catalogue no. C10 and is prepared to tow trailers max total weight 1250 kg and max vertical load 50 kg.
1. It is not necessary to reassemble the bumepr.
2. Find original signed places inside the boot on the left and right side, then drill ø24mm.
3. Slide the sleeves L=50mm (pos. 5) and position the element (pos. 4).

Installation of this baseplate requires removing the plastic belly pan. The brackets attached to the vehicle's frame and the tie down brackets also need to be removed. They will be replaced with the baseplate's side mounts. The plastic around the tie down brackets will need to be trimmed.
1. Read the General Instruction Sheet included with this baseplate.
2. Under the front corners of the car there is a stamped metal bracket that protrudes down with a slot at the bottom. These are called the tie down brackets. The baseplate mounts to the outside of the tie down brackets and to the center engine support bolts, using ten bolts, eight of which are supplied with the baseplate.

1991-1996 Ford Escort Radio Replacement

STEP 1: The Ford radio is snapped into the vehicles dash. With the proper tool, known as Ford radio removal keys, the Ford radio can be pulled forward out of the dash. A clothes hanger can be used instead of actual Ford radio removal keys. Cut the clothes hanger and bend 2 pieces in the shape as shown in the photos above.
